Hey Guys,
What a powerful time we had in God’s Word this past Sunday! As we studied Revelation 22:6-21, we were reminded of the urgency, hope, and eternal significance of living in light of eternity. These final verses of Scripture are not just a conclusion—they are a call to action.
Let’s reflect on the key truths we explored and how we can carry them into our daily lives.
The Certainty of Christ’s Return
Jesus’ words in Revelation 22:12 ring with clarity: “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to reward each one as his work deserves.”
This truth is meant to inspire both hope and urgency in our hearts. As we considered the certainty of His return, we were challenged to ask ourselves:
This week, let’s keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and live as though He could return at any moment—because He could.
The Call to Faithfulness
Revelation reminds us that our faithfulness in the present matters for eternity. We were challenged to examine our obedience to God’s Word and our stewardship of the time, talents, and resources He’s entrusted to us.
One illustration shared during the sermon highlighted how even the small acts of faithfulness—like showing kindness, sharing the gospel, or serving behind the scenes—have eternal significance.
As we move forward, let’s commit to being faithful in the little things, knowing that God sees and rewards our labor.
The Consequences of Our Choices
Perhaps the most sobering part of Sunday’s message was the reminder that our choices have eternal consequences. Revelation 22:14-15 draws a stark contrast between those who enter the gates of heaven and those who remain outside.
This isn’t a message to scare us—it’s a message to awaken us. For believers, it’s a call to share the gospel with urgency, knowing that heaven and hell are real and eternity is at stake. For those who are still searching, it’s a call to make the most important decision of your life: surrendering to Christ.
The Call to Respond to God’s Invitation
Revelation ends with an invitation: “The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come.’” This invitation extends to everyone. Whether you’re a lifelong believer or someone who feels far from God, He’s calling you to come to Him.
Sunday’s message encouraged us not only to respond personally but to extend that invitation to others.
What is God calling you to do in response to His invitation?
Taking the Next Step
As we continue to reflect on this message, here are some practical ways to live in light of eternity:
Your Invitation to Join Us Again
This past Sunday was just the beginning. God is moving in our midst, and we invite you to continue the journey with us. Next week, we’ll explore "That You May Believe, and we’d love for you to join us.
If this message stirred something in your heart, don’t let it stop here. Share your story with someone, take the next step in your faith, or reach out to us if you have questions or need prayer.
Let’s commit together to live in light of eternity, making every moment count for God’s glory.
? “He who testifies to these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming quickly.’ Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.” – Revelation 22:20

- Are we living in readiness for His coming?
- Are we investing in what truly matters—eternal treasures?

As we continue to reflect on this message, here are some practical ways to live in light of eternity:
- Renew Your Perspective: Start each day by reminding yourself that this world is not your home. Fix your eyes on the eternal (Colossians 3:2).
- Share the Gospel: Identify one person in your life who needs to hear about Jesus and pray for an opportunity to share the good news with them.
- Invest in the Kingdom: Ask yourself, “How can I use my time, talents, and resources for God’s glory this week?”
- Stay Ready: Live each day as if Christ could return today. Be faithful, watchful, and prepared.
