Believe in the Savior Who Breaks Barriers

Hey Guys,

In a world full of dividing lines—political, racial, cultural, moral, and even religious—it's easy to feel like some people are just “too far gone.” Maybe you’ve felt that way yourself. Maybe you’ve wondered if Jesus could ever truly love someone who’s made the mistakes you’ve made. Or maybe you’ve given up hope that someone you love will ever come to Christ.
This Sunday, we invite you to discover the hope found in John 4:1–30 as we continue our series, Believe: A Study of John, with a message titled: “Believe in the Savior Who Breaks Barriers”

In this powerful passage, Jesus does something unexpected. He takes a detour through Samaria—a place most Jews avoided. There, He meets a woman at a well. She’s a Samaritan. She’s morally broken. She’s spiritually confused. And she’s hiding in the heat of the day.

But Jesus doesn’t avoid her.
He doesn’t shame her.
He doesn’t ignore her past.

He engages her. He loves her. And He changes her life forever.
Jesus breaks through every barrier—racial, cultural, personal, and spiritual—to offer this woman what she’s been longing for all her life: living water.
“Whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never be thirsty...” — John 4:14

And then—this once-shamed woman becomes the first evangelist in the Gospel of John. She goes into her city and says, “Come, see a man who told me everything I’ve ever done!”
That’s the kind of Savior Jesus is.

He knows everything about us—and still loves us.
He pursues the outcast, redeems the broken, and calls the unqualified.
And yes—He still saves today.

This message is for:
  • The one who feels like their sin disqualifies them.
  • The believer who’s hesitant to share their faith.
  • The church that longs to see revival break out in their town.
  • Anyone who needs to be reminded that Jesus is greater than the barriers we face.

Join us this Sunday at 10:30am as we explore this life-changing encounter. Come early for coffee and fellowship. Bring someone with you—you never know how one moment in the presence of Jesus might change a life forever.
