Hey Guys,
Have you ever wondered what Jesus sees when He looks at your heart? Many people claim to believe in Him, but is their faith real?
This Sunday, we’ll dive deep into John 2:23-25 with a sermon titled "Jesus Knows Your Faith"—a message that could change your eternity.
Many Believe, But Few Are Truly Saved
John 2:23 tells us that many people in Jerusalem believed in Jesus when they saw His miracles. But in the very next verse, we read something shocking:
“But Jesus, on His part, was not entrusting Himself to them, because He knew all people.” – John 2:24
In other words, they believed in Jesus, but He did not believe in them. Why? Because their faith was based on signs and wonders, not on a true understanding of who He is. They were impressed but not transformed.
Could the same be true of us today?
Jesus Sees Beyond the Surface
Unlike people, Jesus cannot be fooled by words, emotions, or religious activity. He doesn’t just hear what we say—weighing our church attendance, good works, or moral lifestyle—He sees what is truly in our hearts.
The Bible warns that not all who claim to follow Christ are truly saved:
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.” – Matthew 7:21
Are You Trusting in Religion or a Relationship?
It is possible to:
✅ Know Bible verses but not know Jesus.
✅ Go to church but never be changed.
✅ Believe Jesus is real but not surrender to Him as Lord.
Many today, just like the crowd in John 2, follow Jesus for the wrong reasons—seeking blessings, miracles, or comfort, but not salvation. A shallow faith won’t save you, but a true relationship with Christ will.
A Call to Examine Your Faith
This Sunday, we’ll explore what genuine faith looks like and how you can be sure that you truly belong to Jesus. If you have any doubt about your salvation, this is the message you need to hear.
