Hey Guys,
Easter Sunday has come and gone—but the truth of the resurrection is never past tense.
Yesterday, we gathered to celebrate the greatest truth ever declared:
Jesus Christ is risen from the dead.
And in that glorious truth, we declared the title of our Easter message:
“The Death of Death”
Taken from 1 Corinthians 15:50–58, we explored how the resurrection of Jesus didn’t just comfort the sorrowful or encourage the weak—it defeated death itself. Not temporarily. Not symbolically. But completely and forever.
“Death has been swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” – 1 Corinthians 15:54–55 (NASB)
That wasn’t just something to preach on Sunday morning—it’s something we must carry into every day of our lives.
✝️ What We Proclaimed
The resurrection is not merely a moment in history. It is the centerpiece of Christian faith, the anchor of our hope, and the assurance of our future.
We proclaimed that:
? What It Means for Today
We return to work. The kids go back to school. Life moves on.
But Easter was never meant to be a single day on the calendar. It’s a lifelong reality for those who know Christ.
Here’s how we can live out the resurrection every day:
? For Those Still Seeking
If you visited our church this past Sunday, we are so glad you came. Whether you’re searching for truth, exploring faith, or returning to church after a long time—we believe God is working in your life.
And the message of Easter is for you too:
Jesus died for your sins. He rose for your salvation. And He invites you to trust in Him.
You don’t have to carry the burden of sin.
You don’t have to fear the grave.
You don’t have to wonder if you’re good enough.
Because Jesus is enough.
? Let’s Stay Connected
If you prayed to receive Christ, or if you have more questions about salvation, we would love to talk with you. You can contact us anytime at newhopedyer@gmail.com. We’re here to walk with you as you grow in your faith.
And if you don’t have a church home—we invite you to make New Hope Baptist Church your home. We gather every Sunday to open God’s Word, worship the risen Christ, and encourage one another in truth and love.
? Sunday Services: 10:00 am Sunday School and 11:00 am Morning Worship
? Location: 132 New Hope Rd. Dyer, Tn 38330
? Website: New Hope Baptist church
?️ Christ Is Risen—Live Like It
The resurrection isn’t something we visit once a year.
It’s something we live in every day.
Let’s walk in boldness. Let’s live with joy. Let’s speak with hope.
Because death has been defeated.
Jesus is alive.
And that changes everything—forever.

The resurrection is not merely a moment in history. It is the centerpiece of Christian faith, the anchor of our hope, and the assurance of our future.
We proclaimed that:
- Jesus bore our sins and conquered the grave.
- Death was not the end for Him, and it won’t be the end for us.
- For those in Christ, resurrection is not just a promise—it’s a guaranteed inheritance.
? What It Means for Today
We return to work. The kids go back to school. Life moves on.
But Easter was never meant to be a single day on the calendar. It’s a lifelong reality for those who know Christ.
Here’s how we can live out the resurrection every day:
- Walk in Hope – The fear of death no longer controls us. Jesus has gone before us and secured eternal life.
- Serve with Purpose – As Paul said, “be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord” (1 Cor. 15:58). Your labor is not in vain.
- Share the Good News – The world needs to hear that death has been defeated. There are people all around us still living in fear. Let’s share the message of life in Christ.
