Hey Guys,
What does faithfulness in ministry look like?
This past Sunday, we walked through John 3:22-24 in our sermon titled “A Model for Ministry.” We saw Jesus and John the Baptist demonstrating a humble, obedient, and faithful approach to serving God. Ministry isn’t about recognition or competition—it’s about pointing people to Jesus.
Now that we’ve heard the Word, how do we live it out?
Key Takeaways from the Sermon
✅ Ministry is about people, not platforms. Jesus invested in His disciples, spending time with them and preparing them for future leadership. Are we making disciples in our daily lives? (Matthew 28:19-20)
✅ Faithfulness is greater than fame. John the Baptist wasn’t concerned with building his own following—he simply obeyed God’s call. Are we content to serve, even when no one notices? (1 Corinthians 4:2)
✅ God calls every believer to serve. Ministry isn’t just for pastors or missionaries. Whether you teach, encourage, pray, or serve behind the scenes, God has a place for you. Have you stepped into your role in His Kingdom? (Ephesians 4:11-12)
How Will You Respond?
As we move forward, here are three ways to apply this message:
1️⃣ Pray for a servant’s heart. Ask God to help you serve with humility and obedience, wherever He places you.
2️⃣ Find a place to serve. Whether in the church or in the community, look for ways to invest in others and point them to Jesus.
3️⃣ Stay faithful in your season. You may be in a season of preparation, growth, or active leadership. Whatever it is, trust God and remain faithful.
Let’s Keep the Conversation Going!
What stood out to you from this sermon? How is God calling you to serve? Let us know in the comments or send us a message—we’d love to hear how God is working in your life!
? Missed the sermon? Catch up here and be encouraged!
Let’s continue to serve with humility, obedience, and faithfulness—always pointing others to Jesus. See you next Sunday! ?
Serving Him,
Bro. Joey
