Hey Guys,
After a wonderful celebration marking 110 years of God’s faithfulness to our church, we find ourselves encouraged and recharged to pursue our mission with unity and vision for the future. The anniversary was a time for joy, gratitude, and reflection. Together, we remembered our history, honored those who built this foundation, and reconnected as a church family. Now, as we turn our hearts forward, we’re excited to see how God will continue to use us in new ways, with a spirit of unity and a commitment to His calling.
Celebrating Our Unity
One of the most powerful aspects of our anniversary celebration was the reminder that our strength as a church lies in our unity. Coming together to worship, reminisce, and dream was a testament to the beauty of fellowship and shared purpose. Psalm 133:1 tells us, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!” This unity was felt throughout our celebration, and it serves as a foundation for everything we will do in the years to come.
Unity doesn’t mean we’re all the same, but that we stand together in faith and purpose. Our diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives enrich our church and equip us to serve our community in powerful ways. As we move forward, we recommit ourselves to the bond of unity, always remembering that our love for each other reflects Christ’s love for us. Our unity in Christ will continue to be our greatest witness to the world.
Embracing a Forward-Thinking Vision
Reflecting on the legacy of those who came before us, we were reminded that their work wasn’t just about their time—it was about laying the groundwork for the generations to come. Now, as the current generation of the church, we have the privilege and responsibility to build upon their foundation with a vision for the future.
We live in an ever-changing world, and our ministry will adapt to meet new challenges and opportunities. Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” As a church, we are committed to seeking God’s vision for this new season, praying for guidance, and being open to the new ways He may call us to serve. Whether it’s through community outreach, discipleship programs, or support for families, we want to impact lives and bring hope.
Moving Forward with Faith and Purpose
The heart of our church’s mission hasn’t changed: we are here to glorify God, make disciples, and show His love to our community. Yet, each new season brings fresh ways to live out that mission. As we look forward, let’s hold fast to our calling, moving with boldness and faith in the work He has prepared for us.
Let us be a church that continues to grow, not only in numbers but in love, faith, and impact. May our hearts remain open to God’s leading, our minds focused on His Word, and our hands ready to serve. We are entering this next chapter with excitement and trust, knowing that the One who has brought us this far will guide us every step of the way.
A Call to Action
As we move into the future, let us each commit to being a part of this next chapter. Let’s serve, pray, encourage, and give, each of us contributing our gifts to the church body as a reflection of our unity in Christ. Together, we will continue to honor God’s faithfulness, reach out to our neighbors, and shine His light brightly.
The celebration was a reminder of all that God has done—and a joyful glimpse of all that He will do. With a heart for unity and a vision for the future, we are ready for the next 110 years.
Serving Him,
Bro. Joey
