Good morning,
I hope you will join us in our "Mighty 90" campaign. Now, I don't want you to get the wrong idea about what we are doing. This campaign is not about New Hope Baptist Church simply attempting to drum up money. This campaign is about showing you the freedom and blessings God grants to those that are obedient to Him. God tells us to test Him in our tithing:
8“Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, ‘How have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings. 9“You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing Me, the whole nation of you! 10“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the LORD of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.
New American Standard Bible: 1995 Update (La Habra, CA: The Lockman Foundation, 1995), Mal 3:8–10.
You won't find God telling His people to test Him in any other area. There must be a reason why God tells us to test Him in this area. So, what is that reason? Well, you can experience the answer to that question by taking up the challenge of the Mighty 90 campaign.
God will bless you. God will bless your family. God will bless our church.
Think about this: how often have we missed out on the blessings of God because we have been fearful of being obedient?
God will do what He says He will do. He has done it in my life and He will do it in your life. Step out in faith and let's see what happens when all of us at New Hope Baptist Church become tithers.
Serving Him,
Bro. Joey
