Hey Guys,
This past Sunday, our sanctuary was filled with love, laughter, and the sweet presence of God as we gathered to honor mothers and open His Word together. It was a beautiful reminder that behind every godly mother is not just hard work and sacrifice—but a sincere faith, rooted deeply in Christ.
In our Mother’s Day sermon, “The Marks of a Godly Mother,” we explored what Scripture says about the lasting legacy of a woman who walks with the Lord. From 2 Timothy 1:5 to Titus 2:3–5 and Proverbs 31:30, we saw how a mother’s influence isn’t measured by worldly standards but by spiritual depth, sincerity of faith, and reverence for God.
Here’s a quick recap of the four marks we unpacked:
We were reminded that these marks are not achieved by human effort alone. They come through the transforming grace of Jesus Christ and the daily guidance of the Holy Spirit. And though this message honored mothers specifically, its call applies to us all: Will we live a life that leaves a legacy of faith?
What’s Next?
As we move forward, let’s continue honoring godly women not just one day a year, but daily through gratitude, support, and prayer.
Let’s also strive to be people of legacy—men and women who reflect Christ at home, in the church, and in the world.
If you missed the sermon or want to share it, you can see it here.

Final Thought
“A woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.” – Proverbs 31:30
To every mother, grandmother, spiritual mentor, and woman of faith—thank you.
You are seen. You are valued. And your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
See you Sunday as we continue seeking Christ together.

Here’s a quick recap of the four marks we unpacked:
- A Foundation That Is Spiritual – Godly mothers plant seeds of truth early, laying down a heritage of faith that impacts generations.
- A Faith That Is Sincere – They live out what they believe, walking in authenticity, not just appearance.
- Fruit That Is Spiritual – Their lives bear visible fruit—love, kindness, purity, and sound teaching—especially in the home and church (Titus 2:3–5).
- A Fear of the Lord That Is Supreme – Above all else, they live in reverence to God, not seeking praise from the world but approval from their Creator.
We were reminded that these marks are not achieved by human effort alone. They come through the transforming grace of Jesus Christ and the daily guidance of the Holy Spirit. And though this message honored mothers specifically, its call applies to us all: Will we live a life that leaves a legacy of faith?
